What if you became a true expert in your field? What if you were world class at your work or your profession? What if you became a little stronger, a little healthier, a little smarter, and a little happier every day?

What if you could do this?

You can!

Small actions, repeated consistently, over time, can produce dramatic results. One of my favorite authors, Darren Hardy highlights this simple, but profound concept in his great book, The Compound Effect.

You can become an expert in your field.

You can become healthier and stronger.

You can become financially free.

How? By committing to continuous improvement. By becoming a little better tomorrow than you are today—each and every day.

It all starts with a choice, a commitment, and the personal discipline to stick with it.

Personal discipline leads to personal freedom.

If health is a priority, try adding a salad to your dinner 5 nights per week. If you’re willing to try smoothies, make a breakfast smoothie (banana, spinach and strawberries are an easy place to start) every morning before work. If you’ll do this, every day for a month, you will be giving your body the nutrients, fiber and fuel that it wouldn’t have received if you skipped breakfast only to grab a donut on the way to the office.

If you want to become an expert in your profession, in your job, then commit to reading for 45 minutes each evening (maybe instead of watching TV) on your field of interest. Over a 6-month period, you will have increased your knowledge, vocabulary and expertise in amazing ways. Guess what? Very few other people are doing this. They’re watching TV. Good for you, and it won’t take long before you are outperforming others in your field.

You are worth it. Your future is worth it. Your legacy is worth it.

Your time is precious and you get to choose how it is spent. Your choices determine your success. Your behaviors become habits, and your habits determine your destiny.

Darren Hardy shares his formula for success:

You—> Choice (decision) + Behavior (action)+ Habit (repeated action) + Compounded (over time) = Achieving Your Goals

It’s important to take an inventory of your time and what you’re doing with it. Be brutally honest with yourself to see the areas that need the most attention. Making a change in your life, and getting better in a specific area, takes commitment and a strong desire to succeed.

If you’re someone who spends too much time scrolling through social media while you’re “working” at night, then you’re giving time away that could be used to help you reach your goals. You may not realize that you’re allowing this to happen, but by assessing your time and how it is being spent, you’ll see where your time is really going.

If you want to save money, start small. Small amounts invested steadily over time yield big results. The point is to take action, even if that action is very small, and repeat that action, over and over, and you will eventually see big results. We often think we need to do something BIG in order to make a difference, but we don’t. In order to see results, we just need to start. Start now, start small, and take consistent action.

The choice is yours. 100% yours. It cannot be delegated.

Your time and your choices are yours to manage.

You can live your best life. You start by getting a little better tomorrow than you are today. Start right now, and watch your new life begin to unfold.

I’m always here to help and I wish you great success along the way!

Cheers!
